Whilst my particular area of interest is the management of heart failure, I would primarily see myself as a clinician who can assess the major symptoms that pertain to a cardiology practice:

• Syncope
• Chest pain
• Shortness of breath
• Palpitations

It is not possible for any one cardiologist to personally always be able to offer the ultimate solution to every problem in the way of definitive procedures such as angioplasty, pacing, defibrillator insertion etc.

I would offer my services in terms of a thorough analysis of the problem the patient faces and take the responsibility of ultimately finding a solution, either within my abilities or with an appropriate referral to a colleague.
