HeartWest was founded in 2001 by Cardiologists living and working locally to improve access to high-quality cardiac care for communities in the west and northwest of Melbourne. Since 2001, we’ve grown to five dedicated clinics across Hoppers Crossing, Williamstown, Essendon North, St. Albans and Coolaroo.

With a leading team of more than 20 cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and affiliated specialists, we provide comprehensive end-to-end cardiac care across consultations, diagnostic testing, and inpatient procedures. Importantly, as a group, our combined experience encompasses all applicable cardiac sub-specialties, including general cardiology, congenital heart disease, imaging, interventional cardiology, structural heart disease, and electrophysiology.

HeartWest doctors are also supporting the advancement of cardiology research and treatment as leaders in a range of advanced clinical trials, and are affiliated with various public and private hospitals across Melbourne, providing patients with access to leading cardiac care in their communities.
